RE: The Arrest of Micki Witthoeft , the mother of Ashli Babbitt, during a peaceful protest.

On this anniversary of J6 Micki Witthoeft has been arrested for what appears to be non-compliance to capital police instructing her to move to the sidewalk during a peaceful protest.
The arrest occurred at approximately 2:09 EST. At this time of statement being 3:54 PM EST our organization has just received a text update from an associate on scene that the Capital police are refusing to tell her attorney why she was even arrested.
While we believe in accountability for violations of law, we also believe in equal justice and are against selective enforcement of our laws often based on political affiliation.
Federal prosecutors in Portland had dismissed over half the cases against Democrat rioters on 2021 . Federal Prosecutors dismissed cases in DC of 2017 of Trump inauguration Democrat rioters. In contrast federal prosecutors are seeking high exposure jail sentences of Republicans involved in J6 and now the capital police are arresting the figurative leader of these peaceful protests while others on the same street were not arrested for same.
At Veterans For Trump AKA Veterans For America First we agree with the previous public statements made by President Trump that these people are being treated unfairly which again appears to be the case today in this arrest of Micki Witthoeft.
We call on the capital police to release Witthoeft without criminal charges.
