New York City does not like Trump or America First candidates and they will play dirty politics to help the establishment Republicans win in a red district.

Vito Labella , the establishment candidate, lost the Republican Primary to Ying Tan, a Chinese immigrant for NYC Counsel District 43. After his loss Labella decided to switch to a third party and stay on the ticket for the general election rather than drop out and support Ying Tan.

Labella did not stop there, he hired attorney Steven Skrzypczak of the NY GOP and sent notice they intended to challenge Ying Tan’s petition of signatures, and coincidentally. Ballotpedia incorrectly was showing Labella won the primary.

Fitzgerald reached out to the attorney who did not return the call and ran the story on the wire which was picked up by major NYC media outlets where then according to Gavin Wax a NYC America First Leader , support to Ying Tan was now flowing in after the story broke.
