Fitzgerald and Wong arranged a border security briefing from national security expert Admiral Kubic who was Trump’s choice to build a significant portion of the wall. A camera crew was arranged to document the night tour of the border, media hits for candidates were arranged and Wong covered the story on Fox news as well as with the New York Post. Candidate Staples went on to use the border as a major talking point for her campaign and fundraising. Staples raised approximately 900,000.00 that cycle making her a competitive candidate for congress.
